Configure app activation mode

Introduction

The app activation Mode is the app license activation mechanism for the users before they start using the Sanas app. Activation mode allows effective user and license management and assists Portal users in reviewing app utilization among users.

What are the available activation modes?

Below are the available activation modes:

  • User Activation Key (UAK): UAK is a credential-based activation method that requires the user’s User ID and Workspace ID for activation. Portal users must manually add the app users' details and share these credentials with the intended app users to allow them to access the app.

  • Auto-activation: Auto-activation is a domain-synced activation method that utilizes the computer’s connected domain and logged-in user profile details for app activation. If auto-activation is configured, the app activates automatically once the user launches the app on their computer, provided the user’s computer is connected to the organization's domain and the user is logged in to the computer with their user profile.
