Introduction
App updates ensure that your Sanas app stays current with the latest features, performance improvements, and security enhancements.
Most updates are deployed in the background by your IT team and typically require no action from you. However, if your admin has enabled the Auto Update feature, you will receive a notification when an update is available. You can then choose to install the update at a convenient time—within the scheduled update window—without interrupting your daily work.
Before You Begin
Please keep the following in mind before proceeding with an update:
Update notifications appear only after you launch the Sanas app.
Avoid updating during an active call to prevent service interruptions.
Ensure a stable internet connection to download the update smoothly.
Understanding App Update Notifications
You may encounter different types of update notifications depending on how your admin has configured the auto update.
Scheduled App Update
If an app update has been scheduled, you will see notifications on both your desktop and within the Sanas app. These will inform you of the upcoming update and when it will be available.

You don’t need to take any action until the update becomes available.
App Update Available
If you access the app during the update window, you will receive a notification that the update is ready to install.
You can begin the update process by clicking Update Now from either the desktop or an in-app notification.

The update will remain available throughout the scheduled update duration.
Forced App Update
If the update is mandatory, you’ll receive a notification indicating that it will be installed automatically during the scheduled time if not initiated manually.
You can still choose to click Update Now to start the update immediately.

If no action is taken, the update will begin automatically within the defined update window.
