This guide explains the auto-update functionality in the Sanas Accent Translation (AT) and Noise Cancellation (NC) apps. The auto-update feature eliminates the need for manual updates, ensuring you always have the latest version of the app.
Info: The following procedure applies to users of the AT and NC apps. Refer to our admin guide for more information on configuring auto-updates.
Before you begin
App updates are pre-scheduled by your supervisor/ administrator.
Procedure
Note: Do not start the update while on an active call.
Launch the Sanas Accent Translation app on your computer.
If an update is scheduled, a pop-up notification will appear, displaying the scheduled update details.
During the scheduled time, an Update Now button will be available in the app and in the toast message. Click Update Now to begin the update.
Wait for the update to complete. Once finished, a confirmation message will appear.
FAQs
What happens if I don’t update the app myself?
Ans: If you do not update the app within five days of the update being released by your admin/supervisor, the update will be enforced automatically.
Why are app updates important?
Ans: Updates ensure a seamless customer calling experience, improve performance, and give you access to new features.
Do the app users need administrator privileges to proceed with the update?
Ans: No, the app users can initiate updates without the administrator privilege.
