Best Practices for Speech Intelligence

Prev Next

Overview

To effectively utilize Speech Intelligence during your call, here are the best practices:

Start Sanas before your softphone

  • Please launch Sanas first, then open your softphone, whether it is browser-based or a desktop app. This ensures your softphone detects and picks up the Sanas audio devices correctly.

Set Sanas Audio Device for your softphone

  • Select Sanas Audio Device as the microphone and Speaker in your softphone.

Disable other playback devices

  • In Windows Settings > More Sound Settings > Playback, please disable any third-party or external audio drivers (for example, Realtek or 'Microsoft Teams Audio') so that Sanas remains the active output device.

Disable other recording devices

  • Similarly, under Windows Settings > More Sound Settings > Recording, please disable any external drivers (such as Realtek or 'Microsoft Teams Audio') so Sanas is the only active input.

Keep the Sanas device exclusive during live calls

  • Please make sure no other application is using the Sanas device at the same time, for example, a Microsoft Teams meeting running in the background.
