Introduction

This guide walks you through the steps to configure time zone settings for a Workspace in the Sanas Portal.

What is Workspace's specific timezone?

Workspace-specific time zone configuration allows Portal admins to define a unified time zone for a given Workspace. Once set, the timestamp across Sanas Reports will align with this selected time zone, regardless of the Sanas Portal user’s local device time zone.

If no time zone is configured, the Portal defaults to using the user's browser-based time zone.

Prerequisites

  • You’ll need the Admin privilege on the Sanas Portal to configure the Timezone.

Configure Timezone

📔 Note: Time zone settings apply only to the currently selected Workspace. Other workspaces will continue to use the default (browser-based) mode unless configured separately.

  1. Navigate to the Sanas Portal and log in using your credentials.

  2. Select your desired Workspace from the Workspace Switcher at the top-left corner.

  3. Click Settings from the main navigation menu and scroll to the Time Zone section.

  4. Choose your preferred time zone mode:

    • Browser-based: Displays timestamps based on each user’s local device time zone.

    • Workspace-based: Allows the selection of a specific timezone. All timestamps will be set to the selected timezone for all Portal users.

      • If selected Workspace based timezone, choose your desired timezone from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Save to apply the changes.
