Additional Flows
Repair Flow
(If Sanas Noise Cancellation V2.1 is already installed and you relaunch the same installer)
Scenario 1: INSTALLERID Present
Flow: Welcome Screen > Repair / Remove Dialog > Install Files / Uninstall
This occurs only if
INSTALLERID
is present inHKLM\Software\Sanas.ai\{AppName}\INSTALLERID
.
Scenario 2: INSTALLERID Missing
Flow: Welcome Screen > Installer ID Screen > Repair / Remove Dialog > Install Files / Uninstall
This happens if
INSTALLERID
has been deleted or doesn’t exist in the registry.
Note: The Installer ID Screen will not appear if
INSTALLERID
is modified (but not deleted) in the registry. ModifyingHKLM
requires administrator privileges, so this is not a concern for general users.
Upgrade and Downgrade Flow
(If Sanas Noise Cancellation V2.1 is installed and you launch the V2.2 installer)
Flow: Welcome Screen > License Screen > Installer ID Screen (Pre-populated Installer ID)
Clicking ‘Next’ successfully upgrades the AT app.
The downgrade process follows the same steps.
Note: You can modify the ‘Installer ID.’ If left empty, the installer will attempt to validate but will fail at the 'Install Files' stage.
