Sanas Recommended System Settings
The document provides important settings that need to be in place for the Sanas Noise Cancellation application to work perfectly.
Access System Sound Settings
Open system sound settings
Output - select the physical headset connected to the system as the output device
Input - select Sanas Microphone as the Input Microphone
Access More Sound Settings
Set the Playback settings as shown below
Set the physical headset connected to the system as the default device
Disable any system inbuilt speakers
Leave Speaker Sanas Virtual Audio in Ready status as shown in the image left
Set the recording settings as shown below
The physical headset commented to the system should be in ready status as shown in the image left
Rest all available microphones can be in a Disconnected or disabled state to ensure they do not get selected by Windows automatically in any case
Select Sanas Microphone (Sanas virtual audio) in the dialer audio settings under “microphone”.
Additional Sound settings for physical headset (Optional and may not be available for all headphones)
Follow the below steps to configure headphones if you encounter any audio quality issues.
Match the audio format of Sanas and Headphone
Double-click on the headset microphone
Click on the Advanced Tab
Click on the dropdown menu under the default format
Choose 1 channel, 16-bit, 16000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality)
You may only see 44000 Hz for certain headphones, select the same if 16k Hz is not available.
Uncheck both options under “Exclusive Mode”
If you see an option of “Audio Enhancement” After “Exclusive Mode” uncheck the same
Click apply and ok

Test and adjust the microphone volume for best results (suggested level between 50-70%)
