Introduction
Sanas needs constant access to your system’s audio for its operations. As Sanas is supported on multiple platforms, it becomes essential to follow specific recommended audio settings based on the type of conferencing or softphone service you use.
This guide provides generic audio settings recommendations for your system.
Recommended audio settings
Follow the audio settings based on the type of your softphone:
ℹ️ Note: The following configuration is tested on the Sanas app versions 2.24.0731 and above.
Browser-based services
The browser-based softphone services, by default, pick the audio settings configured at the system level. Update the audio settings at the system level by selecting Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio under the Audio input options. Ensure you save and apply the configuration, and refresh the softphone service if it’s already launched.
Application-based services
Update your application’s audio settings by following the steps below:
Navigate to the application’s audio settings.
Under the audio inputs section, select Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio.
Save or apply the configuration. Make sure you refresh the application before making an actual call.
