This guide provides instructions to enable the Inbound Noise Cancellation (NC) feature for the Accent Translation (AT) users from the Sanas Portal. The Inbound Noise Cancellation features require a minimum Sanas app version of 4.2.X or above.
Inbound and Outbound NC
Inbound NC eliminates the background noises from the recipient’s voice, ensuring the Sanas app user hears the recipient loud and clear, irrespective of their background environment. Similarly, the Outbound NC is intended for the recipients, and it eliminates any background noise from the Sanas app user’s voice before it reaches the recipient. The combination of Inbound and Outbound NC creates a true noise-free calling experience for both individuals on the call, helping to reduce any misunderstanding due to the background noise.
Before you begin;
You must have the admin role access on the Sanas Portal to update the app configuration for a Workspace.
Minimum app version 4.2.X or higher for all app users in the workspace
Users on older versions won't see the Inbound NC controls on their app post feature enablement from the Portal, but can continue using other available features.
Enable Inbound Noise Cancellation
Log in to the Sanas Portal using your credentials, and ensure you are in your desired Workspace. Use the Workspace Switcher at the top-left corner of the Portal to navigate between workspaces.
Navigate to the workspace settings page, and scroll to the Accent Translation with Inbound Noise Cancellation capabilities section.
Select Allow Accent Translation for outgoing audio and Noise Cancellation for incoming audio to configure the Inbound NC for AT users.

Click Save to apply the changes.
What next?
Once the feature is enabled, app users must end any ongoing session and restart their app to see the Inbound NC controls on their app. By default, the Inbound NC toggle is turned on. App users can manually disable the Inbound NC toggle at any time they need, based on their requirements.
