Introduction
This article explains Sanas Widget and how to enable it for an Accent Translation (AT) Workspace from the Sanas Portal.
What is Sanas Widget?
The Sanas Widget is an essential feature for the app users who need to turn off Sanas quickly during a call. This feature becomes handy in scenarios where the app user needs to speak in another language (other than English) and wants to take a quick action.
Sanas Widgets provides a quick toggle functionality for Sanas users who often need to switch between multiple languages during a live call. The current flow of disabling Sanas from the app requires you to open the app and disable the Sanas after selecting an appropriate reason, which creates significant friction when working with a live call.
Key features:
Quick toggle: The widget features a toggle that indicates the current Sanas Status, enabling users to switch between On and Off states without opening the whole app.
Always available: Once enabled from the Portal, the widget remains on the user's screen even when the whole app is minimized, making it easy to access.
No reason selection needed: Users can disable Sanas without selecting a reason, streamlining the process. Supervisors will still receive notifications about
Before you begin
The Sanas Widget is only supported for users running the Sanas app version [
4.0.X and above
]. Ensure all app users in the workspace are running the supported app version. Users with older app versions won’t see the widget feature even if it is enabled for their workspace.Available only on the AT workspaces.
Enabling widget for a workspace
Log in to the Sanas Portal by using your credentials. You’ll need the Admin privilege on the Sanas Portal to modify app configuration for a workspace.
Navigate to the Settings page and scroll down to the Show Widget option under the App configurations.
Toggle on the widget option, then click Save to apply the changes.
Using the widget feature
Launch the Sanas app and activate it with your credentials, if applicable.
Minimize the Sanas app.
You’ll see a Sanas widget on your screen with a toggle button to turn Sanas on or off.
