Make your first call with the Sanas NC
Step 1: App Activation
First, you must activate the Sanas NC app to start a new app session. The app may have one of the following activation modes available. Follow the applicable procedure to proceed with the activation.
📔 Note: Your admin manages the app activation modes.
Option A: User Activation Key (UAK)
This is the default activation method. Use it if other methods are unavailable.
Launch the Sanas AT app on your computer.
Enter your Workspace ID and User ID on the activation page, then click Activate Key. Please contact your admin/supervisor to get your app activation credentials if you haven’t received them.
Option B: Auto Activation
Auto-activation is a domain-synced activation method that eliminates manual credential entry. The auto-activation uses your computer’s current connected domain and logged-in user profile details to validate the user and create a new session.
The Sanas NC app validates user details upon launch and automatically creates a new app session upon successful user validation. If auto-activation doen’t work for any reason, you can still proceed with the UAK-based app activation.
Step 2: In-app configurations
Your Sanas NC app is activated and ready to use. Before making your first call, ensure your In-app audio configurations are in place. We highly recommend verifying your in-app and softphone audio settings (defined at step 3) before each new app session to avoid issues and ensure uninterrupted usage.
You may see one of the following two configurations on your NC app home page:
📔 Note: Your admin controls the availability of NC for incoming audio feature. If its unavailable, you can still proceed to use the NC for outgoing audio.
Turn on the Sanas Noise Cancellation toggles.
Outgoing audio: Noise cancellation is applied to outgoing audio.
Incoming audio: Noise cancellation is applied to incoming audio.
Ensure the following audio inputs are selected.
Outgoing audio: Connect your headset’s microphone.
Incoming audio: Connect your headset’s earphones.
Turn on the Sanas Noise Cancellation toggle from the Home page.
Select the connected headset’s microphone under the audio input menu.
Step 3: Softphone configurations
Finally, you must verify the audio settings of your used softphone to ensure the required audio configurations are made. Sanas applies the default system audio settings to browser-run softphones; however, softphone services with dedicated applications may require you to verify audio settings manually. Use the below generic steps to verify softphone audio settings:
📔 Note: You can also refer to our guides for specific Softphone integration for detailed instructions.
Navigate to your softphone service and do the following:
Navigate to the audio settings.
Under audio input, select "Sanas Microphone" or "Sanas Virtual Audio".
And that’s it! You are ready to make your first call with Sanas. Please rate your calling experience to help us improve the Sanas app.
