Configure Lock Voice Profile Selection

Prev Next

Introduction

Voice profiles determine the characteristics of a user's accent-translated speech on the Sanas App. Users select a voice profile — Masculine or Feminine — to help Sanas assign the closest-matching translated voice.

Lock Voice Profile is an admin-controlled feature on the Sanas Portal that enforces a voice profile for users within a Group or Account. Once enabled, the selected voice profile is locked on the Sanas App and cannot be modified by the user. Admins retain the ability to review and update individual users' locked voice profiles directly from the Portal.

How It Works

Lock Voice Profile follows a three-stage workflow:

  1. Admin configuration — An admin enables Lock Voice Profile for a Group or Account from the Sanas Portal.

  2. User profile selection — Users who have never selected a voice profile receive a prompt on the Sanas App to select a voice profile (Masculine or Feminine). Users who have previously configured a voice profile have their existing selection locked automatically.

  3. Admin review and modification — Admins can review each user's locked voice profile in the App Users table and update it directly from the Portal if required.

  • Ensure your Portal role has Group or Account Settings: Full Access permissions to configure this feature.
