Make your first call with the Sanas NC

Step 1: App Activation

To activate and start using the Sanas app, follow these steps. You’ll find one of the following app activation pages upon launch, based on the configuration done by your organization:

Option A: User Activation Key (UAK)

It is a default app activation method and could be used when other activation methods are unavailable.

  1. Launch the Sanas AT app on your computer.

  2. Enter your Workspace ID and User ID on the activation page, and then click 'Activate Key'.

  3. If you don’t have your app activation credentials, please get in touch with your Admin or Supervisor.

Option B: Auto Activation

Auto-activation is a domain-synced activation method that eliminates the need for manual credential entry. The auto-activation uses your computer’s current connected domain and logged-in user profile details to validate the user and create a new session.

The Sanas NC app validates user details upon launch and automatically creates a new app session upon successful user validation. If auto-activation doen’t work for any reason, you can still proceed with the UAK-based app activation.

Step 2: In-app configurations

In this step, we’ll configure your Sanas app configuration to ensure a seamless calling experience. Your app configuration is your primary control for enabling or disabling Sanas.

You’ll see one of the following Sanas NC app home pages, based on the configuration done by your admin:

  2. Select the connected headset’s microphone under the audio input menu.

By default, Sanas applies your system’s default audio configuration to the softphones running via a browser; however, you may need to tweak the audio sources for softphones with dedicated applications.

Follow the steps below to verify or modify audio sources:

📔 Note: We also recommend to refer to the dedicated guides on softphone audio configurations.
