Introduction
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to configure the Cisco Jabber audio settings. The audio configuration is necessary to grant Sanas the permissions required for its operations.
Before you begin
Ensure that Cisco Jabber and the Sanas applications are already installed on your computer.
Ensure you have the required permissions on Jabber to modify the audio settings.
Audio configuration
1. Launch Cisco Jabber
Open the Cisco Jabber application.
Log in with your credentials if prompted.
2. Access Audio Settings
Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the Jabber window.
Navigate to File > Options.
In the Options window, select Audio from the left-hand menu.
3. Select Sanas Microphone
Under the Microphone section, choose Sanas Microphone from the dropdown list.
Adjust the audio level slider — we recommend a setting between 80% and 100%.
4. Set audio device preferences
On the Audio settings page, click Advanced at the bottom.
In the Advanced audio options, set the device preference.
For the Microphone, set Sanas Microphone as the primary preferred device using the arrow buttons.
5. Save Changes
Click Apply, then click OK to save your settings.
