Introduction

Automatic Volume Optimization (AVO) automatically adjusts your softphone's headset volume when audio distortion or sudden volume spikes are detected. This ensures call recipients experience smooth, consistent audio quality throughout the conversation. Once enabled at the workspace level, the feature operates silently in the background—no action required from app users.

Prerequisites

Before enabling AVO, ensure you have:

  • Admin access to the Sanas Portal

  • Sanas app version 4.1.X or higher is deployed to users.

Guide: Enable AVO for a Workspace

  1. Log in to the Sanas Portal with your credentials.

  2. Select the desired workspace.

  3. Navigate to Settings and scroll to the Automatic Volume Optimization section.

  4. Toggle the feature on and confirm.

Once enabled, AVO activates automatically for all users on supported app versions (4.1.X+). Users on older app versions will continue using the Sanas app without AVO functionality.
