Introduction

In this release, we’re focused on enhancing the user experience by automatically enabling Sanas on app launch and empowering admins with the ability to enforce voice profiles for Accent Translation (AT) users.

What’s New

1. Auto-Enable Sanas on App Launch

Supported App Version: 4.6.x

Platform: Windows

This feature streamlines the user experience by automatically enabling Sanas each time the app is activated.

When enabled through the Portal, Sanas will turn on automatically upon every app launch—regardless of the user’s last recorded Sanas status. This eliminates the need for users to manually enable Sanas at the start of their shift.

Admin Setup

To enable Auto-Enable Sanas:

  1. Log in to the Portal.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Auto-Enable Sanas on App Launch.

  3. Toggle On the setting.

No action is required from app users. Sanas will automatically be enabled the next time they launch the app.

2. Lock Voice Profile Selection

Supported App Version: 4.6.x

Platform: Windows

Lock Voice Profile Selection ensures that users consistently use the correct voice profile while using Accent Translation (AT).

This prevents call quality issues that may occur due to incorrect voice profile selection.

How It Works
  • Admin enables the feature for specific AT workspaces.

  • On first app launch (after enablement), users are prompted to select their preferred voice profile - Masculine or Feminine

  • Once selected and saved, the voice profile is locked.

  • Any future changes to the voice profile can only be made by an admin through the Portal.

Admin Setup

To enable Lock Voice Profile Selection:

  1. Log in to the Portal.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Lock Voice Profile Selection.

  3. Toggle On the setting.
