Introduction
This guide provides instructions for downloading and installing the Sanas app on macOS. Learn more about our key features to utilize Sanas per your business needs.
Only Apple Silicon processors are supported
The Sanas app is currently supported only on Apple computers with Apple Silicon processors (M1, M2, etc.).
Installation methods
You can install the Sanas app in the following ways:
When installing on an Individual computer
Package installer: By running the app package installer
Terminal: By executing the installation command through the Terminal window
When installing on multiple connected computers
MDM: Use popular MDM tools, such as Microsoft Intune, to deploy the Sanas app across multiple connected computers.
Before you begin:
Sanas app is supported on macOS Ventura and above (macOS 13 and above). Ensure you are on a compatible OS version before proceeding further.
You’ll need the Sanas Portal access to download the Sanas app.
Ensure you have the system admin password if installing via the terminal method.
Installation procedures
via the package installer
Contact our Support Team to get your Sanas app installer for macOS.
Save the installer to your computer.
Double-click on the downloaded app package to launch the installer.
Follow the instructions and complete the installation. The app gets auto-launched upon installation.
Get started by activating the Sanas app using your credentials. Refer to the user guide for detailed instructions on using the Sanas app.
via terminal command
📔 Note: Make sure you have the administrator credentials to run the installation.

Save the installer to your computer. Navigate to the downloaded app package.
Press and hold the
optionkey from your keyboard and right click on the app package, then click “copy <file name> as a pathname”.
Launch the terminal window on your computer and enter the following command:
sudo installer -pkg <direcotry path> -target /. Replace the<directory path>With the path copied in the previous step.
Example: sudo installer -pkg /Users/ronak.giri/Downloads/Sanas-4.1.10-arm64.pkg -target /When prompted, enter your admin credentials to proceed with the installation. The app auto-launches upon installation.
