Sanas Reports: Understanding Usage Metrics
Overview
The Reports section in the Sanas Portal provides insights into usage patterns over the last 7 days. Users can apply various filters to customize the data view and download reports in CSV format for further analysis. The data displayed reflects the time zone of the Portal user, ensuring accurate local relevance.
Filters Available
In the Reports section, users can apply the following filters to customize their data view:
Time Period: Select the specific date range to view usage data.
Teams: Choose particular teams to filter data and see relevant metrics.
Metric Details
Once filters are applied, a quick summary of metrics is displayed at the top of the page. Below are the key metrics and how they are calculated:
New Users: The total number of users created within the selected workspace/team during the specified time period.
Active Users: The count of users actively using the Sanas app, defined by events generated within the selected period.
Sanas Disabled: The number of times users toggled Sanas off (AT / NC Toggle Off) during the chosen period.
Incompatible Setups: The number of users who experienced incompatible setups within the period, even if the issue was later resolved.
Session Details
What qualifies as a session?
A user session is recorded in the Session Details table if the user was active at least once during the selected period.
Each unique combination of a user and machine counts as a separate session.
Each row in the Session Details table corresponds to a unique active session.
Explanation of Key Metrics
Session Duration
Definition: The difference between the timestamps of the user’s first activity/login and their last activity in a day.
Exclusion: Breaks longer than 3 hours between two consecutive activities are excluded to ensure long idle periods are not considered part of the session duration.
App Enabled Duration
Definition: The effective duration when the Sanas app was actively used.
Exclusion: Time periods when the screen was locked or when Sanas was disabled are not included in this duration.
Status Definitions
Active:
Users who have the Sanas app running, even if it's running in the background. These users might be using the system, but may not necessarily be using the Sanas microphone for calls.
Engaged:
Users who selected the Sanas microphone in a communication app during a call and had the NC/AT toggle enabled.
No Activity:
Users who logged into the Sanas app but performed no further activities related to the app.
