SDK version: 1.5.2
We're thrilled to introduce Sanas Personalisation—a powerful new feature that lets you maintain your unique voice identity while using Accent Translation. Now you can sound both global and authentically you.
Why this matters
Preserve your voice identity. You'll sound global and confident without losing what makes your voice distinctive.
Enhanced naturalness. Your personalized voice not only sounds global but also retains the speech nuances from your original voice, further enhancing your accent-translated voice.
How it works
Feature enablement - Workspace admins enable Sanas Personalisation from the workspace’s settings page. Once enabled, SDK users on the supported version will see the personalisation feature available.
Voice profile creation - Users create their voice profile in just a few minutes. The following modes are available for voice profile creation:
Automatic: Doesn’t require the user to record their voice manually; instead, Sanas samples the user’s voice during the call. The profile gets created and gets applied on the next call.
Manual: Allow user to record their voice offline to create a voice profile. The profile gets applied to the next app session.
Build UI to facilitate voice recording.
Build a UI in your custom app to enable voice recording in manual mode. Automatic mode doesn’t require that.
Admin visibility - Admins can track personalisation status for each team member on the Users page, showing status as "Completed" or "Not completed."
Flexible updates - If required, users can overwrite their previously created voice profiles. Record a new voice profile to overwrite the previous one. The new profile gets automatically applied on the next app session.
Works everywhere - Voice profile syncs across devices, so you get the same personalized experience whether you're using Sanas from your laptop or another machine.
Additional notes
We are using the Wav2Identity model to create voice profiles.
Recording is capped at 1 minute. The recorded audio is not stored in our system and is destroyed after processing.
Personalised voice profiles are saved in the backend and auto-applied on the next startup.
