Introduction
This guide provides instructions for configuring audio settings on web browsers. Web-based softphones automatically apply the default browser audio settings. However, you can also look for softphone-specific guides under the web-based or app-based softphone configuration guides.
📔 Note: The procedure below demonstrates configuring audio settings for some of the most commonly used web browsers. Similar steps could be followed for any browsers.
Audio configuration for web browsers
Choose your web browser from the list below:
Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome on your computer.
Click on the ellipsis (â‹®) menu in the top-right corner, and select Settings.
Navigate to Privacy and Security > Site settings.
Select Microphone under Permissions.
Choose Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio from the drop-down list.
Click Save to apply changes.
Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.
Navigate to the browser's Settings.
Click Cookies and Site Permissions on the left-side navigation menu, and then select Microphone under the All Permissions section.
Select Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio from the drop-down menu, and then click Save to apply the changes.
Mozilla Firefox
Launch Mozilla Firefox on your computer and navigate to its Settings page.
Click Privacy & Security on the left-side navigation menu and scroll down to Permissions.
Click Settings next to Microphone.
Select Sanas Microphone or Sanas Virtual Audio from the list, then click Save Changes.
