Introduction

Automatic Volume Optimization (AVO) dynamically adjusts audio levels in real-time, preventing speech from being too quiet or distortedly loud. It maintains a steady output throughout every call.

Feature overview

Available on

All Sanas products (Noise Cancellation, Accent Translation, Speech Enhancement, and Language Translation)

Supported Sanas App version

v5.2.x and above

Required Permissions

  • Group settings: Full access (to configure for a group)

  • Account settings: Full access (to configure account-wide)

How it works

AVO processes outgoing audio in real time, normalizing volume levels before the audio reaches your recipient. It works independently of Noise Cancellation and does not require any calibration or setup from users. Once enabled by an admin, AVO activates automatically on the user's next app sync with the Portal.

For admins: Enable AVO

To deploy AVO, simply enable it in the group configurations. You can target specific groups or enable it at the Account Level for your entire organization.

Prerequisites

  • Environment setup: Disable any built-in audio or voice enhancement features in your conferencing software (Zoom, Teams, or dialers) to avoid interference with AVO.

Enable AVO for a group

  1. Sign in to the Portal and select the intended group from the Group Tree, or select the account for organization-wide configuration.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Configuration.

  3. Under Desktop Application, locate Application Settings.

  4. Enable the Automatic Volume Optimization toggle. Configuration settings for Automatic Volume Optimization and Application Settings in the interface.

  5. (Optional) Enable Lock Configuration to prevent subgroup admins from overriding this setting.

Note: Once enabled, AVO start working from the next auto app sync. App users can not disable AVO from their Sanas app.
