Introduction
Setting up your Sanas account starts with configuring its basic details, such as the account name and account ID, managing your subscribed plans — Accent Translation, Speech Enhancement, Language Translation, and Speech Intelligence — and adjusting basic settings such as timezone, app user inactivity, and remote inferencing.
The configuration can be applied at the Account level (organization-wide) or Group level. Select the account or group from the Group Tree on the left side of the portal before making changes. Most settings include a Lock Configuration toggle. Enable it to prevent subgroup administrators from overriding the setting.
This section is divided into two parts: Account Details and Account Settings.
Note: For Groups and Subgroups, these are are labeled Group Details and Group Settings.
Account Details
Account Information
View and manage the account name, Account ID, and creation date for the selected Account.
From the Sanas Portal, click Settings.
Under Configuration, look for Account Details, then select Account Information.
Note: For Groups and Subgroups, these are labeled Group Settings > Group Information.

Important! Your Account Name, Account ID, as well as Group Names and Group IDs are unique to your organization. Share this information only with authorized individuals on a need-to-know basis (such as your account management team and your agents).
Subscriptions
Typically accessible only at the account level, this is where account admins manage the licenses for Sanas products subscribed to by your organization — modifying and terminating subscribed products and their licenses, as well as adding new ones to your account.
From the Sanas Portal, click Settings.
Under Configuration, look for Account Details, then select Subscriptions.

To view the product features of your subscribed plan, click View Feature List.
To modify your plan — add or reduce the number of licenses, seats or minute allotments, as well as term dates, click Edit opposite the subscribed plan.
Note: A checkbox for an unlimited licenses or seats, if preferred, is located here as well. For billing types, it can either be Free (usually for trial versions) or Paid.
To terminate your plan, click the three ellipsis opposite the subscribed plan and select End Subscription.
Note: Please align with your Sanas POC or Sanas Admin before doing this action.
To add a new plan, click the Add New Subscription tab.
Account Settings
Timezone
Sets the timezone used for timestamps shown to Portal Users (reports, logs, activity).
From the Sanas Portal, click Settings.
Under Configuration, look for Account Settings, then select Timezone.
Note: For Groups and Subgroups, this is labeled Group Settings.
Choose from the Select Timezone dropdown menu.

Inactive App Users
When enabled, it automatically deactivates Sanas App users who haven't used the app for a configured number of days, freeing up license seats without manual tracking.
From the Sanas Portal, click Settings.
Under Configuration, look for Account Settings, then select Inactive App Users.
Note: For Groups and Subgroups, this is labeled Group Settings.

Note: The default number of days of user inactivity prior to auto-deactivation is 30, with the option to customize it from 1 to 180 days.
Remote Inferencing
Lets you run Sanas speech models on a remote server instead of the end user's device — useful for reducing reliance on local hardware and ensuring consistent performance. Enter the endpoint address (IP or fully qualified URL) of your remote inference service.
From the Sanas Portal, click Settings.
Under Configuration, look for Account Settings, then select Remote Inferencing.
Note: For Groups and Subgroups, this is labeled Group Settings.

Note: Make sure the address is reachable from end-user devices and that network access is configured correctly.
