If you manage multiple groups but don't have account-level access, you've likely spent time switching between individual group Home pages just to piece together an overall picture of Sanas utilization. That fragmented workflow ends with this release.
My Assigned Groups adds a new layer in the Group Tree that consolidates Sanas utilization across every group assigned to you — all in a single view. Subgroup-level Portal users now get the same consolidated visibility that account-level admins have always had.
How to access: Select My Assigned Groups in the Group Tree. The Home page displays a consolidated overview of Sanas utilization across all your assigned groups.
Why don't I see “My Assigned Groups” in the Group Tree?
My Assigned Groups is only visible to Portal users who aren't assigned at the account level. If you already have access to your Sanas account at the top of the Group Tree, you won't see this option.
Auto-activation
Auto-activation is a credential-less authentication mode that streamlines user onboarding on the Sanas App V5. It uses the connected domain (on Windows) or host name (on macOS) on the user's computer for authentication. Users are automatically authenticated when they launch the Sanas App and are added to a group based on the configured Installer ID.
How to set up Auto-activation
Step 1: Update the Installer ID on user computers
An Installer ID is a unique string that helps Sanas identify the user's group and preconfigure their app before they sign in. Installer IDs are unique at the group level and can be used in two ways:
Account Installer ID: Use this if you're implementing Auto-activation across all groups in your Sanas account. All users signing in for the first time are added under the Default Group. You can move them to other groups later as needed.
Group Installer ID: Use this if only some groups will use Auto-activation. Configure the specific group's Installer ID on the intended users' computers during the Sanas App installation. This adds users directly to the specified group instead of the Default Group.
Where to find the Installer ID?
Select your account or group in the Group Tree, then navigate to the Get Sanas page to copy your Installer ID.
Configure the Installer ID on users' computers using one of the following methods:
During installation: Enter the Installer ID when prompted by the Sanas App installer.
Update Installer ID via command: Run the applicable commands below to update the Installer ID manually if you didn’t update during installation. You can also deploy these commands through MDM tools to update centrally managed computers.
Note: An app restart is required post the installer ID update.
Windows (MSI and exe installer)
PowerShell or Command Prompt:
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Sanas.ai\Sanas" /v InstallerId /t REG_SZ /d "<your_installer_ID>"macOS
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/ai.sanas.SanasApp.plist InstallerId "<your_installer_ID>"Note: Replace the placeholders in the commands above with actual values before running them:
<your_installer_ID>— Your Installer ID from the Portal (Get Sanas > Copy Installer ID).
Step 2: Configure Auto-activation on the Portal
In the Group Tree, select the group (or the Sanas account for account-wide configuration) you want to configure.
Navigate to Settings > Application Authentication.
Select Auto-activation, then select Save.
Verify that the Automatic User Creation toggle is enabled on the same page.
Single Sign-On for the Sanas App
The Sanas App now supports Single Sign-On (SSO). Users can authenticate using the same identity provider (IdP) your organization already uses for other services.
How to set up SSO
Setting up SSO involves four steps: configure the Installer ID, integrate your IdP on the Portal, set the authentication mode, and ensure your users are provisioned.
Step 1: Configure the Installer ID
The Installer ID is a unique identifier for groups that helps Sanas preconfigure the app for users. Refer to Step 1 under Auto-activation for detailed instructions on configuring Installer IDs.
Step 2: Integrate your IdP on the Sanas Portal
On the Sanas Portal, navigate to Settings > Authentication > SSO.
Copy the Identifier and Reply URL values displayed on the page.

Use these values to create an SSO integration in your identity provider, then download the X.509 Certificate.
Open the downloaded certificate in a text editor and copy its contents.
Return to the Portal, paste the certificate content into the corresponding field, and select Save.
Step 3: Configure the App authentication mode
On the Sanas Portal, navigate to Settings > Application Authentication.
Select SSO, then choose your integrated IdP from the list.

Select Save.
Step 4: Ensure users are provisioned
For users to authenticate through SSO, they must exist in your configured IdP. On the Portal side, you have two options:
Automatic User Creation (recommended): Enable the Automatic User Creation toggle under Settings > Application Authentication. When enabled, users are automatically added to the group whose Installer ID is configured on their computer.
Manual provisioning: If Automatic User Creation is disabled, you must add each user to the Portal before they can authenticate.

Use the guides below for IdP-specific integration steps:
On-demand AI model Update
You can now update the AI model your team uses directly from the Sanas Portal for supported Sanas products (Accent Translation, Speech Enhancement, and Noise Cancellation), without requiring an app reinstallation. This capability, previously available in V4, is now supported in Sanas App V5.
How it works
AI model updates can happen in two ways:
Automatic update: Sanas automatically triggers an AI model update when you configure accents for a group, and the users in that group are running an AI model that doesn't support those accents. Sanas deploys the recommended model automatically to all users running a compatible version of the Sanas App.
Manual update: You select the AI model yourself. Navigate to Settings > select your Sanas product under Products > choose your preferred AI model from the dropdown > select Save.
.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-08-24T16%3A25%3A31Z&se=2026-08-24T16%3A41%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=KdzjDtlj13SzgM5mO%2BY%2F5gGVV1FImH985FaCNM64KIw%3D)
Once you apply an update, App users download the new AI model in the background and get moved to the new AI model on their next app sync with the Portal.
Note: The new AI model is downloaded to users' apps based on the Download preference configured for the group.
Sanas Widget
.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-08-24T16%3A25%3A31Z&se=2026-08-24T16%3A41%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=KdzjDtlj13SzgM5mO%2BY%2F5gGVV1FImH985FaCNM64KIw%3D)
The Sanas Widget is a quick-toggle overlay that stays on top of the user's screen — whether they're on a local computer or virtual desktop — when they minimize the full Sanas App. It gives users quick access to Sanas toggle without switching windows.
The redesigned Widget also provides real-time visual feedback so users can confirm Sanas status at a glance, without needing to reopen the app:
Audio waveform animation: When the Widget is visible, and Sanas is enabled, an audio waveform animation indicates that Sanas is actively processing audio.
Taskbar color indicators: The Sanas icon in your taskbar reflects the current status:
Red — Sanas is disabled.
Amber — Sanas is enabled, but audio isn't being synthesized. This typically means the Sanas audio device (Sanas Microphone or Sanas Audio) isn't selected in your softphone's audio settings.
Green — Sanas is enabled and actively synthesizing audio.
Removed Direct App Closing
App version: 5.2.21
The direct app closing button has been removed from the Sanas App to promote the adoption and utilization among users. Users can continue to minimize it, but can not close the app directly anymore.
Note: Only the direct App closing is removed. Users can still close the app from the taskbar/ dock.
