👋🏻 Say Hello to Smooth Calling Experience with Automatic Volume Optimization

Available for: Sanas Accent Translation and Noise Cancellation Workspaces

Automatic Volume Optimization feature is currently in Beta!

The Automatic Volume Optimization feature is currently in limited release. Reach out to Sanas Support to enable AVO for your workspace.

With Automatic Volume Optimization (AVO) enabled, Sanas is now compatible with a much larger range of headsets, including those with sensitive microphones.

How It Works: The AVO feature is powered by our newly integrated automatic gain control within the audio processing pipeline. The AVO detects any sudden volume amplification in the speaker's volume during the call. It automatically adjusts the volume to a comfortable range before it reaches the recipient, resulting in a smoother, distortion-free, and professional-grade calling experience.

Enable AVO for a Workspace

First, the admin enables the AVO feature for a workspace from the Sanas Portal: Portal > Settings > Automatic Volume Optimization. Once enabled, Sanas app users running version 4.1.X and above automatically receive AVO benefits.

We heard you loud and clear! You wanted more flexibility, and we're delivering exactly that. We've enhanced how Accent Translation (AT) works to ensure you always get the best possible call experience, even in scenarios when you need to disable AT.

What's Changed: When you manually disable Accent Translation for any reason, Sanas continues to use Noise Cancellation (NC) automatically in the background, ensuring your calls remain crystal clear and distraction-free.

We've brought your most requested feature to macOS! Omnidirectional Noise Cancellation is now available on the Sanas app for Mac users.

What is Omnidirectional Noise Cancellation? Omnidirectional Noise Cancellation is a real-time noise cancellation feature that eliminates unwanted background noise from both the speaker's and recipient's audio (omnidirectional), ensuring a truly crystal-clear calling experience for everyone on the call.

🔊 Enhanced Audio Quality with High Fidelity AT on macOS

Supported platform: macOS, already available on Windows and Linux

App Version: 4.1.7 and above

The Sanas app for macOS now supports 16 kHz output, delivering a significantly richer audio experience on supported channels.

Automatic Activation: 16kHz sampling rate support is integrated into the macOS app version 4.1.7 and above, based on the model packaged.

We've unified the Sanas application to have the Accent Translation (AT) and Noise Cancellation (NC) capabilities into a single app on all our supported operating systems, eliminating the need for switching between applications.

Why it matters:

  • Single unified app: Combines Noise Cancellation and Accent Translation in one application across all operating systems, enabling seamless product switching and shared device usage.

  • Consistent experience: Cross-platform architecture delivers uniform functionality regardless of operating system.

  • Reduced admin overhead: Eliminates separate installs and redeployments when users switch between Sanas products.


🆕 New Sanas Widget

App Version: 4.0.X and above

Supported platforms: Windows

Introducing the Sanas Widget for Accent Translation (AT) workspaces, allowing you to quickly turn on or off Sanas without switching to the full Sanas app.

This feature is essential for users who need to quickly disable Sanas during calls, especially when switching to non-English languages.

Enable the Sanas Widget feature in App Configurations (Sanas Portal > Settings). See Enabling Sanas Widget for detailed instructions. Once enabled, users with app versions 4.0.X+ will see the widget when minimizing the Sanas app.

Key features:

  • Quick toggle: Switch Sanas on/off without opening the full app, with current state indication.

  • Always available: Widget stays on top of other applications and remains accessible even when the Sanas app is minimized.

  • No reason required: Disable Sanas instantly without selecting a reason—supervisors still receive notifications.

Note: The Sanas Widget is designed for local desktop environments and is not displayed within VDI screens.
