You're just a few steps away from enabling an excellent calling experience for your team!

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • Sanas Portal sign-up link from the welcome email sent by Sanas.

Didn’t recived your welcome email? Contact our Support Team for assistance.

  • Software installation privileges on your organization's computers.

    • If needed, coordinate with your IT team for remote app deployment.

  • A stable internet connection is required throughout the setup process.

Setup Process

Step 1: Access Sanas Portal

The Sanas Portal is your centralized web-based console for managing and monitoring Sanas apps across your organization.

  1. Open your welcome email from Sanas and click the Accept Invitation button to access the Sanas Portal. In the subsequent steps, we will set up the Portal.

  2. First-time login: Create a new password for your Sanas Portal.

    1. If you've configured a password earlier, log in to the Sanas Portal.

Default Configurations

To simplify your onboarding, Sanas applies these default configurations:

Configuration

Description

Workspace

The Workspace is named after your enterprise name.

Default Team

We will add a default team to your workspace. The default team acts as a landing page for app users who activate their Sanas app using the auto-activation method.

App Activation Mode

  • Noise Cancellation (NC): Auto Activation

  • Accent Translation (AT): User Activation Key (UAK)

📔 Note: If the workspace is using UAK-based app activation, app users' details must be manually added to their respective teams on the Sanas Portal.

App activation mode: App activation mode is a license activation method used by the app users before starting a new session. The admin users can change the default activation mode at a Workspace level from the Sanas Portal. See configure app activation mode to learn more.

Step 2: Invite Portal Users

The Portal users are identified into the below categories:

Roles for Portal users
Role
Responsibilities
Admin
  • Manage app deployment

  • Configure Sanas Portal and Apps

  • Access Sanas reports

  • Manage all teams and users

Supervisor
  • Manage app users for assigned teams

  • Access reports for all teams

  • Limited configuration capabilities

Invitation methods

You can invite the Portal users using the following methods:

  1. Portal UI: Send the email invitations via the Sanas Portal.

  2. Sign-up Link: Share a common sign-up link through your preferred communication channels.

  3. Bulk Import: Add users' details by uploading a template file on the Sanas Portal.

Refer to our guide on inviting Portal users for detailed instructions.

Step 3: Add App Users

Adding app users varies based on your workspace's activation mode:

  • With User Activation Key (UAK): You must add users to the Portal before they can activate the app.

  • With Auto Activation or SSO activation: Users are automatically added to the Default Team when they first use the app (you can reassign them later).

Adding Users for UAK Activation

Choose between:

  • Individual Addition: Add users one by one through the Portal UI.

  • Bulk Import: Upload a spreadsheet with multiple users' information.

For step-by-step instructions, see How to Add Users to a Team.

Step 4: Deploy Sanas App

The Sanas app deployment can be divided into two main phases:

a. App Installation

Sanas applications are cross-platform supported. To get platform-specific installation instructions, choose the operating system for your desired Sanas application.

  • Sanas Accent Translation: Translate speech accents in real-time.

  • Sanas Noise Cancellation: Eliminates background noise during calls.

b. App activation and usage

After the Sanas app is deployed on the user’s computer, the user is expected to activate the Sanas app on their computer. Initially, users will find the default activation mode applied to their apps (discussed during Step 1).

User guides

Refer to the below user guides intended for the app users to help them get started:

Step 5: Whitelist URLs

As a last step, whitelist the below-mentioned URLs on your network firewall and antivirus software to ensure that you can access all of Sanas services without getting blocked:

URL

Purpose

*.sanas.ai

https://cdn.auth0.com
