1. On-Demand Model Updates: Update AI Models Without Downtime
Note: The on-demanad model update feature is currently available only on Windows.
We've fundamentally changed how you manage Sanas apps. AI models now update independently from the core application, giving you control, flexibility, and zero disruption to your operations.
What changed
The Sanas app has two components: the AI model and the application. Previously, these were locked together—updating one meant reinstalling everything.
Now they're separate. Switch AI models as needed without touching the application itself.
Why this matters
Reduced IT overhead: Deploy once with a single installer. No more managing multiple app versions across teams
Faster time-to-value: New models reach users in hours, not days
Business continuity: Users maintain complete Noise Cancellation and Accent Translation access during updates—no workflow interruption.
📔 Note: The accent translation becomes temporarily unavailable to users only when the workspace's configured accents require a different AI model, while noise cancellation remains operational.
Key capabilities
Single Unified Installer - One installer serves your entire organization—Configure models per workspace by selecting source and target accents.
Background Updates - Models download automatically based on your preferences. Users continue working—the new model activates without any action needed from the app user
No Reinstallation - Models update within the app: no user disruption and no deployment coordination.
How It Works
The system automatically ensures users have the right model for their workspace configuration.
Case 1: New Workspace Setup
Create workspace: Specify source and target accents in your workspace creation request.
Deploy app: Download from the Download App page and deploy to user machines.
Auto-verification: Sanas checks if the deployed model matches your accent configuration. If not, it initiates an automatic model switch.
Background update: The correct model downloads and activates without disrupting the app usage.
Case 2: Updating Existing Workspaces
Change accents: Update source and/or target accents for any workspace (see Configure Workspace Accents).
Auto-verification: Sanas detects the change and updates models automatically using the same process above.
Case 3: Choosing Specific Models
By default, Sanas recommends optimal models for your configuration. You can override this and select any available model.
Switch to Stable Models
Configure auto-update: Enable auto updates (setup guide).
Select models: Go to Download App, click Edit, and choose your preferred models.
Deploy: Click Start Auto Update. The new selected AI model gets deployed.
Switch to Beta Models

Enable Experimental Features in Settings to access Beta models, then follow the steps above to switch models.
Understanding Update Types
App Updates: New features, UI improvements, and bug fixes to the core application.
Model Updates: AI model changes to match workspace accent configurations. These updates happen automatically when you create or modify workspaces.
Both update types use the same unified installer—you never need multiple versions.
